About

I am a Web Developer/UI & Interaction Designer and Graphic Artist, using Angular framework (v1-v15) and React JS (15,16 & 18). I am an artist at heart, giving me a way to express through many creative outlets. My strengths come in part from my view of nature and my environment. In this regard I have a strong feeling for UI design. I use tools such as Axure-RP, Adobe-XD, Figma, free-hand drawing and Adobe Creative Suite applications to formulate usable wireframes, work-flows and interactive prototypes I use as patterns for design and development. I use many styling frameworks as well - such as Bootstrap, Material Design, and Materialize CSS. I also agree that CSS is limited and that is why I employ SASS css, as well.

I am a capable and results-driven developer/designer with experience in full SDLC. My skill set includes current Angular and React frameworks. Regarding React, I have taken online classes learning React core using JSX, React Router, React Hooks, and Redux. I have also worked with React integrating with no-SQL databases such as Firebase and MongoDB. I use styling methodologies for UIs such as Bootstrap, Material Design and Sass. I use GIT and utilities such as Bitbucket, and GitLab to store and version all my Angular, React, and HTML applications/sites. I have CI-CD in place as I use Netlify to host many of my sites, and I use Heroku to host many of my Json-server and DB applications. I also have sites hosted on AWS to increase my knowledge of using AWS and its services as an adjunct to my current skill set.

20+ years of experience designing and developing user-centered digital/print marketing material, UI Designs, wireframes and interactive prototypes from initial concept to final, polished deliverable.

Portfolio

In order to create a portfolio of work I could demo, I had to take ideas from projects I had created in the past and re-create them in a way as not to tarnish the existing Corporate NDAs I have in place. I have much of my coding work uploaded onto my GIThub repository with links to active running web applications.
